An open invitation for young cricketers: head to The County Ground in Beckenham on Sunday 14 June for the African Caribbean Cricket Festival — a free day of coaching, top-level cricket and live entertainment celebrating the game’s African Caribbean history.
From 11am, kids can take part in coaching delivered by professional cricket coaches and current international cricketers. Scheduling dependent, the organisers are expecting Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, Davina Perrin and West Indian cricket legends to be on site during the day.
The wider festival runs from 10am to 10pm, with live games, food, music and entertainment all day.
